ORANGE COUNTY NETWORKING RECEPTION & DINNER MEETING
AN INTRODUCTION TO MARVIN
OR NON-MARITAL COHABITATION LITIGATION CASES AND HOW EXPERTS CAN
MAKE THEM SUCCEED, AND THE SANCHEZ CASE!
Thursday, May 17th - 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Join FEWA's Orange County Chapter for an evening of laughs and learning, as four attorneys from the Buncher Law Corporation, an Irvine firm with a unique, niche practice focusing on Marvin Actions (also referred to as Non-Marital Cohabitation or "Palimony" cases) will reveal this fascinating and often misunderstood area of law, as well as how crucial expert witness work product and testimony can be to successful outcomes!
Presenters Sven Buncher, Lauren Mullee, Andrew Bader and Samantha Money will relay examples of their experiences with experts from a wide range of disciplines, in the Marvin action context (as well as in traditional Family Law cases). They will describe how those experts stood out and contributed value to their cases. They will discuss what comprises a strong Marvin case, various roles experts can play, specific ways that expert witnesses can increase client satisfaction and make counsel's job easier, and some of the evidentiary issues that can come up both at trial and in pre-trial preparation. The Sanchez case and its' implications will be analyzed, in particular!
We expect this presentation to be entertaining as well as educational. Don't miss this invaluable event on May 17th! We look forward to seeing you there!
SVEN BUNCHER - Managing Partner, The Buncher Law Corporation
"In my core philosophy lies a simple equation: Live by emotions or live well. From the perspective of litigation, one can litigate every issue available, or litigate what is in your
best interest. I am your counselor, representative and advisor.
My task is to present the economics of justice so that you can make value-based choices and receive the satisfaction you seek. My job is to bring the factual story to the court, to prepare you so that you can achieve your goals. Armed with truth, we will succeed."
Sven D. Buncher has been practicing law since 1996 and is the founding attorney of The Buncher Law Corporation. His unique insight on handling cases is due in large part to his extensive experience in a variety of areas, from family law to business litigation and personal injury. He is a Certified Family Law Specialist and has been recognized by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Hiring a family law attorney who is also a California Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS), will give you the extra boost of confidence to know you are being represented by someone who has the proven experience and expertise to handle all aspects of your legal matter.
Prior to founding The Buncher Law Corporation, Sven gained experience as a partner and associate at both large and small law firms. He has taken the best aspects of both and incorporated them into Buncher Law. Our clients are provided the individualized attention of a small firm, while having access to the resources of a large firm.
Sven knows it is important to provide each client with the highest degree of personalized service. He instills the importance of customer service in his staff. In addition he knows it is imperative to approach each case with fresh eyes, as if it presents novel, factual, and legal issues rather than simply treating it the same as similar cases that have come along before. With an emphasis on careful case management, Sven and his team strive to minimize costs and maximize results.
LAUREN MULLEE - Partner, The Buncher Law Corporation
"My passion is my work; I prioritize each and every one of my client's needs and look to
take a narrowly tailored approach to every case. I work with directed purpose for you and your individual needs. That means we will bond and form a relationship before, during, and even long after your case is resolved. My goal is to get you the results you want as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. I look forward to the opportunity to make a difference in each of my client's lives."
Lauren Mullee is a partner at The Buncher Law Corporation. Her practice focuses on Family Law and Marvin Actions, non-marital cohabitation, and palimony litigation. Our firm's goal is to provide exceptional service to each client, and all of Lauren's clients receive what she calls "The Red Carpet Treatment." At The Buncher Law Corporation, you will never feel as if your case is just "another file."
With Lauren, each and every client is important, and she welcomes regular communication with each of her clients to discuss their ideas, concerns, and wishes. She is a prompt and thorough communicator, with excellent negotiation skills and a knack for convincing opposing parties, attorneys, and judges of her point of view for favorable resolutions for her clients. With Lauren's distinguished educational background, coupled with her extensive experience, you will feel empowered and in control of your case.
Lauren graduated in the top third of her class from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she also served as Vice-Chair of the Appellate Moot Court Board. She also clerked for the Honorable Charles Hayes of the San Diego Superior Court.
